An official organ of the Milton Society of America and of the Milton Section of the Modern Language Association, Seventeenth-Century News (SCN) is published as a double issue two times each year with the support of the English Department at Texas A&M University. As a scholarly review journal, SCN publishes only commissioned reviews and publishes news items as a service to the scholarly community. Published along with Seventeenth-Century News, Neo-Latin News (NLN) is the official publication of the American Association for Neo-Latin Studies. NLN publishes reviews of editions, collections of essays, and monographs that focus primarily on writings in Latin from the Renaissance to the present. Books for review and inquiries about writing for NLN should be sent to the editor, Dr. Patrick M. Owens.
